The aptitude for continuous innovation goes perfectly with another keyword, a pillar of ME Food Solutions‘ corporate philosophy: Hygiene. This is a crucially important aspect resulting from the scrupulous attention paid to food quality, integrity and safety by control and certification agencies.

Every food processing (freezing, proving, cooling, transport, etc.) must be carried out in compliance with very strict regulations that require each plant to be designed respecting specific characteristics and using specific materials.

With this in mind, the solutions created by ME Food Solutions do not use any type of lubricant for mechanical components. In this way, food never meets chemicals that could irreparably compromise its quality and safety. 

Specifically, the conveyor belts are manufactured using a special techno-polymer. This is a material specially designed for the food industry, certified by the American FDA (Food and Drugs Administrations) and in line with the regulations issued by the European Union.

Other technical features that prevent the accumulation of dirt and bacteria are the external traction (“drumless”) of the spirals and the round shape of most of its components (columns, supports, spacers, belts, etc.).

In keeping with the philosophy of hygiene, ME Food Solutions has also developed an efficient conveyor belt washing and drying system consisting of one or more Karcher pumps and a dosing system that allows capillary distribution of the detergent before the actual washing. The same system is also used for the distribution of the sanitiser which represents the final phase of the entire sanitising process. This procedure allows food residues and contaminants to be removed from the conveyor belt. The entire machine is controlled by the operators by means of a modern human machine interface (HMI), which allows the washing and drying parameters to be set down to the smallest detail.

The washing and drying system ensures thorough hygiene of the conveyor belt. This allows the food to flow along the entire production line under optimal hygienic conditions.
